Private Browsing

One of the first things you'll notice about the new version is that it no longer has a built-in web browser - instead, when you click on a link in an email or inside a message, you'll be taken directly to the website. This isn't some feature that was slapped on at the last minute, either, but has been part of the app for a long time.

As a result, when you launch it for the first time after downloading, you'll be offered the option to either continue using the built-in web browser, or to switch to Private Browsing. Once you turn on Private Browsing, any website you visit through Onion Browser will be rendered locally on your device, preventing any third-parties (including Twitter, Google, and Facebook) from tracking your activity.
